  - Advice on passive solar features for an existing or a proposed house or workshop
  - Construction - alternative building materials, rammed earth, strawbales, water walls, wooden logs or earth roofs.
  - Alternative power systems: photovoltaics, windgenerators, Micro hydro turbines
  - Solar water heating installations
